All serious baseball players dream of playing to the best of their ability at the highest level possible. LJB's partnership with the Mid-Atlantic Canes makes that dream possible for players in Lancaster and the surrounding area.

The Mid-Atlantic Canes are the premier showcase baseball organization in the mid-atlantic region. The 2010 17u team had 17 players receive scholarships to Division I colleges. The players received a combined $1.2 million in scholarship money!

The Canes and LJB share the same philosophy: prepare baseball players to be great players, great students and great people. Since we are working towards the same goal, it made sense to join our efforts. What does this mean for the two organizations?

• The Mid-Atlantic Canes will select players from the Lancaster area exclusively through the Lancaster Junior Barnstormers.
  • That process is beginning immediately with the LJB 13u team playing in Canes statewide tournaments where players will be evaluated for future Canes teams.
  • Seven players from the 2010 LJB 15u team are now on the 2011 16u Canes team.
• All LJB players have access to Canes training sessions and information. Sessions include speed training, as well as pitching, hitting, and fielding instruction from current and former MLB players.

With LJB and the Canes, baseball players in the Lancaster area can play at the highest level possible!
