The 10U Red team celebrated Father's Day with a 2nd place finish in the ECTB 10th Annual Father's Day Classic. Saturday was a tough day, but the team roared back on Sunday by winning three games in a row (beating both of Saturday's teams!) to take them to the final game. The championship game was well played by a group of tired kids, and the outcome was decided with two outs in the bottom of the 6th inning.

The 10U team combined a potent offense with a solid defensive and pitching performance to go 3-0 and win the SWS Wooden Bat title! Using wooden bats was a great experience, but seeing how the balls were flying, there wasn't much of an adjustment necessary...congratulations boys!

The 10U Red team wrapped up its spring/summer season with another tournament championship! This weekend's (July 24-25) Blue Mountain Battle FSTB tournament in Hershey was shortened to a one-day event due to severe thunderstorms, but the team came out with blazing bats on Saturday to outscore their opponents 24 to 3! Their performance on Saturday gave them the number one seed out of ten teams and ultimately the tournament title. The 10U Red team earned two first place finishes and two second place finishes this year...not bad for a group of nine and ten year-olds who never played tournament baseball before this year! Congratulations!
Congratulations on a great job to the boys on the 11U team! They played very well and finished second in the Diamond Nation tournament (May 1-2). Check out the photo gallery from the tournament.
With a complete TEAM effort, the LJB 11u Red team won the CABA Chocolatetown Classic championship in Hershey, Pennsylvania. All 12 players made major contributions to the five victories on May 22-23, 2010. The players are especially appreciative of the continuous support and sacrifices made by their families during the tournament weekend. Thank you for helping them "Make a Memory!"
After a 9-week tournament layoff, the LJB 11u Red team returned to action July 30-August 1, 2010. The LJB 11u Red finished third in the Sports at the Beach “Seahorse Showdown,” while scoring the most runs of any team in the tournament.
One week later, from August 6-8, 2010, the LJB 11u Red team captured the ECTB “National Championship Series” title with multiple, inspired, team-focused performances.
The LJB 11u Red have become a team defined by their relentless, positive response to adversity. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the 12U Red team for taking the 12U title in our home tournament - Triple Crown/LJB Diamond Classic!
The LJB 12U Red team overcame extreme heat and storms this past weekend to take home the Ripken High Heat Classic Championship. They had a record of 5-0 while giving up a total of 18 runs and scoring 54. This is their 3rd tournament Championship this season!
The 14U Blue team was busy in late June. They saw action in a Triple Crown tournament in Harrisburg as well as a tournament at the Virginia Sports Complex in Ruther Glen, Virginia. Take a look at some of the highlights in the Photo Gallery.
The 15u Red won the In the Net Summer Classic defeating a tough Bullpen Titan team 12-9 in the final game. Congratulations, guys!

Congratulations to the 15U Red team on another tournament title! On July 17-18 they battled in the Elite Baseball Showcase and came out on top. Even more impressive is that this tournament was open to 16U teams...congratulations guys!
It seems that everytime the 16U Red team enters a tournament, they emerge with another title. This past weekend was no different - add Berkshire Champs to their growing list of titles! Congratulations guys!

I'm really proud of the job all the guys did this weekend, all the way down to Pete & Joe Darrenkamp there for us on Sunday throwing BP and motivating the guys, to Coach Wilt being there for us on Saturday to help us get our groove going, and Colby Conway texting/calling every sunday for the last two months!!!!!!! And let's not forget what Big John Wilt will bring to this team when he decides he wants to play with us again.............. :)
Three pitchers had complete games: Casanova, Young, and Martin. Our bats woke up on Sunday, and we played the Barnstormer defense that we have been bragging about when we went out recruiting additional help!!!!!
A pair of home runs by Adam Marshall and in the championship game MVP, Nate Shank, were big as well!!!!
Two others I'd like to say props to, Mac Mcafferty for calling all the pitches, and to Mr. Ian Bentley who went 4 for 4 in the championship game and oh yeah, got the win after we pulled Adam because of a 30 minute rain delay.
